Philip Roche

Former Principal/vice-principal and Head of Department. I have held senior positions for a total of 12 years. I understand the complexities of being a leader in a high school setting. My specialism is in behaviour and counsellor.
As a former social worker and counselor, I can help support both the school and parents with the 'difficult teen'. I am ready to discuss issues of crisis intervention, the need for emotional and behavioral support, and helping to find solutions.
Together we will support, advise, and help your school to reach its potential and ensure that the students are fully supported and able to grow, and that the role of the parent is at the heart of what we do.
I am a dynamic leader with a strong sense of commitment and the ability to establish cooperative, productive, and professional relations with parents, staff, and the wider community.
I am an experienced and motivated school leader with an extensive background in leadership. I have a proven track record of success in curriculum planning and its implementation, and I have established protocols for learning that are still in place today. My experience includes preparing schools for COBIS accreditation and aligning it with local regulations.
I am proud of the fact that I have created a positive school culture and worked to inspire staff and management to pursue well-being for its employees and promote a culture of learning, teaching them to value both.
My teaching focus and my training specialism are in phonics and all that it entails. I also specialize in ESL provision, establishing protocols, and delivering lectures. I am comfortable developing rigorous programs of development that will ensure a strong, steady relationship between staff, families, and students.
